Muthanna
Muthanna: dual, double, twofold
Muthanna is an adaptable seat for traditional artisans that caters to their need for dual seating options. An elliptical cushioned seat set in a warm cherry wooden base, it stretches to a meter in length when laid flat on the ground. But, with a simple pull of the tan camel leather strap, it then lifts and converts into a comfortable knee-high chair, shifting from a working to a resting position. Muthanna not only provides artisans with long-lasting comfort while producing their handicrafts on the ground, but also while resting on the raised seat.
Materials: cherry veneer, camel leather, fabric upholstery
